Welcome!

I am thrilled to be starting this website and the accompanying blog! I am writing this on June 2nd, 2020, a time of immense unrest amongst all sectors of society. In the following post, I will detail my intentions for this website and blog.

DURING this time, the black community has been suffering from the disproportionate effect of COVID-19 as well as the death of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and more. I am so excited to see all the enthusiasm from today's youth on social media and in the plethora of protests occurring at this point in time. I created this website for people with passion, however no direction (admittedly, I was one of those people). I hope the website serves to create a broader coalition comprised of passionate individuals in order to spark the justice that everyone deserves in this world.

LASTLY, a logistical comment regarding the blog. I will invite writers to post their opinions and views here, however if you are interested in writing a brief article, please use the form posted under the contact section of the website (you can post anonymously)!
